Biography

As a Junior - 2018:

  • ODAC All-Academic Team
  • Appeared in one game for the Yellow Jackets in the 2018 season.
  • Struck out one batter in 1.0 innings pitched vs. Emory & Henry (3/10) 

As a Sophomore - 2017:

  • Appeared in 4 games out of the bullpen
  • Struck out 2 in 3.0 innings
  • Fanned 1 in a hitless, scoreless inning against New Paltz
  • Struck out 1 in a scoreless frame at Ferrum

As a Freshman - 2016:

  • Made 3 appearances on the mound for the Yellow Jackets in the 2016 season.
  • Pitched a total of 1.2 innings and registered one strikeout.

Personal: Maccagnan graduated from Greenbrier Christian Academy where he lettered in baseball...He helped the Gators claim the 2015 TCIS Championship and the Virginia Division II Championship...Maccagnan was the Co-Captain in his senior season and received the SamStrong Leadership Award...He was a member of the student government and was an honor roll student...Maccagnan intends to pursue a degree in business.

Maccagnan's father, Victor Maccagnan, Jr., played soccer at William and Mary. His grandfather, Victor Maccagnan, played baseball and football at Amherst College and Jack's uncle, Mike Maccagnan played football at Trinity College.
