• Appeared in 20 games on the mound for the Yellow Jackets in the 2018 season
• Compiled 42 strikouts and a 2.73 ERA in 33.0 innings pitched
• Tallied 4 saves on the year
• Recorded 7 strikeouts each in a 5-2 win vs. #16 Alvernia (2/24) and again in a 15-7 win vs. Ferrum (3/14)

As a Junior - 2017:

• Made 15 appearances with 6 starts
• 5-3 record with 2 saves, had wins in 5 of first 6 appearances
• Fanned 34 in 44.1 innings
• Earned win in first appearance of season vs. St. Mary's, allowing 1 hits and no runs in 2.2 innings with no walks and 6 strikeouts
• Tossed 5 scoreless innings in first start vs. RPI with 2 hits and 5 strikeouts
• Had 7 strikeouts in 4 innings at home vs. Hampden-Sydney to earn first save

As a Sophomore - 2016:

• Made 11 appearances on the mound for the Yellow Jackets
• Pitched a total of 9.1 innings and recorded 12 strikeouts

As a Freshman - 2015:

• Thompson played against Bridgewater and Eastern Mennonite during his rookie season with the Yellow Jackets
• He tallied one at bat against EMU (3/21)

Personal: Cody attended Atlee High School where he lettered in baseball and volleyball...He helped the Raiders claim the 2013 Capital District Title for baseball...He was named to the Capital District All-Academic Team in 2013 and 2014 and was an Honor Roll student...He intends to major in biology.

Cody's cousin, Robbie Chenault, played football for VMI.
