As a junior (2015): Sanderson appeared in 15 games, starting all of them, in his third season with the Yellow Jackets…He tallied 52 at bats, 12 runs, 14 hits, and eight RBI…Christian registered 34 putouts and one assist.
As a sophomore (2014): Christian was named a member of the ODAC All-Academic Team...appeared in 33 games with 28 starts for R-MC...registered 22 hits, 15 runs, one homerun and 13 RBI on the season.
As a freshman (2013): Appeared in 2 games for the Yellow Jackets...pitched 1.0 inning with two strikeouts.
Personal: Christian attended Jefferson Forest High School where he earned two varsity letters in baseball ... He helped lead his team to two Seminole District Championship titles (2011,2012), a Regional III Quarterfinal, a Regional III Runner-up and VA State Quarterfinal ... During his career, Christian was awarded Honorable Mention All-District, Most Improved Player, First Team All-District Utility, Second Team All-District Outfield, Second Team All-Region and Lynchburg All-Area Second Team ... He was also a member of his high schools National Honors Society, FCA and SCORE International Mission Trip ... Christian intends to pursue a degree in Business/Economics.
