As a freshman (2015): Buckler appeared in four games, starting one of them, during his rookie season with the Yellow Jackets…He tallied three at bats, three runs, and one hit.

Personal: Christian Buckler attended Louisa County High School where he lettered all four years in baseball...In 2013, Buckler received Second Team All-District honors...In 2014, Christian was named Second Team All-District, Second Team All-Conference and played in the VHSCA All-Star Game...Buckler was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Organization for Developing Attitudes...He was also a Kick-Off Mentor...Christian's brother, Jeff Buckler, played baseball for Bridgewater College...Christian intends to pursue a degree in environmental studies and biology.
