As a Junior - 2018:

• ODAC All-Academic Team
• Appeared in 2 games for the Yellow Jackets in the 2018 season.

As a Sophomore - 2017:

• Appeared in 10 games
• Batted .556, going 5 for 9
• Had hits in first two pinch-hit appearances against St. Mary's (Md.) and New Paltz
• Ended season with 3-game hit streak, with hits vs. Lynchburg, Virginia Wesleyan and Roanoke
• Had a pair of putouts in the outfield in final game at Roanoke

As a Freshman - 2016:

• Mullen was actively involved with the team but did not appear during the 2015 season.

Personal: Earned two varsity letters in baseball and three in track at Douglas Freeman High School...Mullen helped lead the Rebels to Conference 11 and 5A South Regional championships in 2014, which resulted in the first regional title and state tournament appearance in school history...The Rebels won another Conference 11 title in 2015...He was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention as a senior and earned All-Region honors on the 4x200 track relay team as a junior...Mullen was a member of the National Honor Society, the French Club and the History and Human Rights club...He also spent time interning with the Summer Institute on Leadership and Public Service, a program that fought hunger and poverty and promoted food justice.

Andrew's brother Matt played baseball at Roanoke College, his sister Mary Grace played field hockey at Roanoke, and his father Tom played football and ran track at East Tennessee State...His uncle, Doug Powell, played baseball at William & Mary.

Andrew intends to pursue a major in political science.
