Biography

As a senior (’16):  Played in all 11 games for the Yellow Jackets at DE recording 51 total tackles and 9.5 sacks en route to becoming the Lou Wacker Defensive Player of the Year and earning All-ODAC First Team honors...  In the Yellow Jacket’s win over Guilford on Senior Day Burdette tallied a season high 11 tackles… Burdette was named to the D3football.com All-South Region Third Team.

As a junior (2015): Played in all 10 games and registered 30 total tackles for the Yellow Jackets... Burdette recorded three sacks and eight tackles for loss... 22 of his 30 tackles were unassisted.

As a sophomore (2014): Burdette played in nine out of ten games for the Yellow Jackets and registered 19 total tackles. Burdette recorded at least 3 tackles in four games for the Randolph-Macon defense. He finished with 1.5 sacks on the year and 3 tackles for losses. In a home win over Catholic, Burdette forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 sack. He also blocked a kick in an away victory over Shenandoah on November 1st.
