Biography

As a senior (’16):  Played in all 11 games for the Yellow Jackets at Safety/KR.  Mitchell recorded 47 unassisted tackles and seven assisted for a total of 54 tackles with two sacks, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, five interceptions, and seven pass breakups to help him earn All-ODAC Second Team Honors... In the Yellow Jacket’s win over Methodist Mitchell recorded a season high 11 total tackles and a sack.

As a junior (2015): Played in nine games for the Yellow Jackets and finished season third in total tackles with 56.... Led the team in tackles for loss with 11, including two sacks... Recorded season best 12 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery in game versus Methodist.

As a sophomore (2014): Started every game for the Yellow Jackets and led the team in total tackles with 63. He registered 11 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for losses, and 1 sack against Bridgewater. Mitchell finished with 8 tackles and 2.5 tackles for losses at Washington and Lee on October 18th. He finished the season with 8 tackles for losses, 2 sacks, and 5 pass deflections. Mitchell recorded at last 6 tackles in six games.
