Biography

As a junior (2014): Appeared in all ten games for the Yellow Jackets and recoreded 10 total tackles. In a home win win over Averett on September 13th, McLaughlin brought down 3 ball carriers and recovered 1 fumble. He registered 4 tackles at Emory & Henry and 3 in a home win over Catholic. McLaughlin also returned 4 kick-offs for a total of 58 yards, including a 22 yard retrun in a home win over Sewanee on September 20th.

In High School: Jess earned three varsity letters in football and two in basaeball while at Goochland High School ... he helped lead his football team to Jefferson District Champions title his Sophomore year and State Champion Runner Ups his Senior year while also leading his baseball team to a District Championship title ... he earned All Dirstrict Linebacker his Junior season, All State Defensive Player of the Year in football and Second Team All District Outfielder in baseball his Senior season ... Jess intends to major in Environmental Science ...
