How it Happened

• The Lemon and Black dominated the first half; Taylor Gim (Baltimore, Md./Notre Dame Prep) put the Yellow Jackets on the scoreboard in the second minute.
• 15 minutes later, Brodie Russ (Baltimore, Md./Concordia Preparatory School) doubled the RMC lead in the 17th minute on a corner opportunity from Gim. The Yellow Jackets took the 2-0 lead into the break.
• Coming out of the break, RMC continued to apply pressure and in the 68th minute added its third goal of the afternoon. Emmerson Hill (Westminster, Md./Westminster) slotted a shot into the net. Three minutes later, Cece Beem (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) added her name to the scoresheet, giving the Lemon and Black a 4-0 lead.
• In the 75th minute, Makenna Burnett (Baltimore, Md./St. Timothy's) received a ball from Hill and Burnett booted the ball home for her first career goal.
• In the final minutes of the game, RMC maintained the offensive pressure and added its sixth goal of the afternoon on a shot from Ella Boyce (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll).

• Gim and Hill led the Lemon and Black with three points in the match.
• Russ, Boyce, Beem and Burnett each tallied a goal in the contest.
• Caitlin Ruddy (Columbia, Md./Long Reach) earned her first career shutout during her first career start.
