STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Randolph-Macon Men's Golf is back in action at the Toftrees Invitational, finishing round one in second place.
Charlie Wilkerson (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) was elite for the Yellow Jackets to open up the tournament, firing off a score of -3 (69). The junior started the day with an eagle on the very first hole, adding three birdies and pars on 12 holes. Wilkerson is currently tied for first as an individual.
Michael Schaal (Chapel Hill, N.C./Carolina Friends) completed the first round with a score of E (72) with a birdie and pars on 16 holes. The senior currently is tied for 11th place as an individual.
Carter Chapin (Seaford, Va./York) finished the opening round at +1 (73) with three birdies and pars on 11 holes. The junior sits in a tie for 16th place as an individual.
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) ended the day with a score of +4 (76) with one birdie and shot par on 15 holes.
Ty White (Emporia, Va. Greensville County) shot +8 (80) in the first round for the Lemon and Black. The junior shot par on 11 holes on the opening day of the tournament.
