ASHLAND, Va. – After reaching the Division III NCAA Tournament in each of its last two seasons, Randolph-Macon Women's Basketball has released its schedule for the 2026-27 season.
 
Two-time ODAC Coach of the Year Lindsey Burke-Eberhart enters her seventh season leading the Yellow Jackets, as she looks to guide the Lemon and Black to their sixth consecutive season with 13-or-more conference wins.

RMC begins its season on the road against a 2026 NCAA Tournament Third Round team in Johns Hopkins on Nov. 10. The team remains away to take on Swarthmore and Notre Dame of Maryland in Virginia Beach, Va. on Nov. 14-15 in the Batten Tournament. The Yellow Jackets' home-opening contest was against the Gators just last season, in a contest that saw RMC extend its all-time record against NDM to 2-0.
 
The Yellow Jackets return to Ashland on Nov. 20 to host Southwestern (Texas) and Emory in the two-day RMC Tournament. Randolph-Macon secured a victory in last season's edition of the tournament, which included two double-digit point victories. The team completes its four-game homestand with a contest against Southern Virginia on Nov. 24, followed by an ODAC matchup against Shenandoah on Dec. 2. Both programs earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament in the 2025-26 season.
 
The team remains in-conference but travels to battle Hollins on the road on Dec. 5. RMC continues its road action to close out the calendar year with a Dec. 13 game against Mary Washington, followed by games on Dec. 27 and 31 against Amherst and Rhode Island College. The final two contests of 2026 will take place in Daytona Beach, Fla., as Randolph-Macon is participating in the Florida Sunshine Shootout.
 
Randolph-Macon kicks off 2027 with a 2025-26 ODAC Tournament Semifinals rematch against Bridgewater on Jan. 6. The Lemon and Black went on to advance to the ODAC Championship, after defeating the Eagles 57-43.
 
Once RMC welcomes Averett to Ashland on Jan. 9, the program will play four of its next five games on the road. On Jan. 13 and 16, the Yellow Jackets battle Roanoke and Randolph, prior to returning home to host Batten on Jan. 20. The matchup will serve as a rematch of last season's ODAC Quarterfinals, in which the Lemon and Black beat the Marlins 68-47 in Crenshaw Gymnasium. The remaining two road games of January take place on the 23rd and 27th against Guilford and Eastern Mennonite, respectively. 
 
On January 30, women's hoops begins a stretch that features five home games in its final seven overall. The team hosts Lynchburg on Jan. 30, prior to a midweek matchup against Bridgewater on Feb. 3. The four-game homestand is separated by a battle in Lexington, Va., against reigning ODAC Champions Washington and Lee. The Generals reached the NCAA Quarterfinals last year and fell to the 2026 National Champion in Denison. Batten serves as the final road game on Randolph-Macon's schedule which takes place on Feb. 17, with Randolph (Feb. 10), Hollins (Feb. 13) and Guilford (Feb. 20) concluding the 2026-27 regular season.
 
Last season, the Yellow Jackets clinched their 14 NCAA Tournament berth in program history. Furthermore, this was the first time the program competed in an NCAA Tournament game after not winning the ODAC regular season title or conference championship. The team has recorded 12-or-more ODAC wins in eight of its past nine seasons, allowing them to reach the ODAC Semifinals in back-to-back seasons.
