COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has announced the 2025 Collegiate National Scholars of Distinction and Randolph-Macon Field Hockey has tied its program record, with four student-athletes being honored for their excellence in the classroom.
The NFHCA National Scholars of Distinction program recognizes undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
The below four RMC field hockey athletes were honored by the NFHCA for their dedication, discipline and commitment to academic success while competing at the collegiate level.
The four incredible individuals helped lead a Randolph-Macon team that hosted and won an ODAC quarterfinal game for the first time since 2013. The Lemon and Black also led the conference in goals against average, save percentage and shutouts per game.
