How it Happened
- Shenandoah got on the board first on the opening possession of the game. RMC's scoring began with one point from Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) at the free throw line and two layups by Liam Joyce (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) to make the score 5-2. A pair of threes by Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) helped RMC double up the Hornets, 14-7, with 14:33 left in the first. Robinson nailed two threes, followed by three triples by Theo Antinori (Asheville, N.C./Rabun Gap) throughout the remainder of the half as RMC closed the frame on a 10-0 run to hold a 47-24 lead at half.
- The Yellow Jackets carried the momentum into the second half, jumping out to a 12-3 run in the opening 7:28 of the stanza to take a 59-27 lead. A three pointer by Ty Showalter (Charlotte, N.C./Butler) and a dunk by Malcolm Hodges (Richmond, Va./Monacan) pushed the Jackets' lead to 39, the largest of the day, at 76-37 with 7:44 to go. RMC had an 80-41 lead with 4:03 left but the Hornets outscored the Yellow Jackets 8-1 over the final stretch. RMC took the 81-51 victory to advance to the semifinals.

- RMC shot 45.8% from the field and 41.4% from deep.
- The Yellow Jackets outrebounded the Hornets 41-26 and had 19 offensive rebounds.
- RMC finished with 19 assists and just seven turnovers.
- Joyce totaled 14 points on 7-9 shooting. He added five rebounds and three blocks.
- Antinori posted 14 points on 4-5 from three along with five rebounds and five assists, all are career-highs.
- Showalter finished with 12 points and six rebounds in just 12 minutes. He was 8-9 from the free throw line.
- Robinson had 12 points, six assists, zero turnovers, and tied a career-high with five steals. He came into the game fourth in the nation in assist to turnover ratio at 4.04.

- Junior Keishawn Pulley Jr. eclipsed the 1,000 career points mark with his six points on the night.
- With the win, RMC earns a trip to the ODAC Semifinals for the seventh consecutive season.
