GREENSBORO, N.C.. - Randolph-Macon Women's Swimming broke a pair of school relay records on day two of the ODAC Championships in Greensboro, sitting in fourth through two days.  

Day 1 Relay

• The relay team of Reese Painter (Houston, Texas/Duchesne Academy of Sacred Heart), Hannah Loyd (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes), Kierra Parsons (Akron, Pa./Ephrata), and Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass) took third place in the 800 free relay with a school record time of 7:48.25.

Individual Highlights

• Caroline Russell got the individual events started with a top five finish in the 500 free with a time of 5:14.25.
• Sophie Sullivan (Richmond, Va./Saint Catherine's) had a strong showing in the 50 free, narrowly missing a top-two finish, coming in third with a time of 23.97.

Relay Highlights

• RMC opened the day breaking the school record in the 200 free relay in 1:37.56 to finish third with a team of Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial), Painter, Cayden Fix (Barboursville, Va./William Monroe), and Sullivan.
• In the last finals event of the day, the relay team of James, Sophia Hanson (Hamilton, Va./Woodgrove), Sullivan, and Fix captured a school record with a time of 3:58.76 in the 400 medley relay to finish third in the event.
