GREENSBORO, N.C. - Randolph-Macon women's swimming completed day one and two at the ODAC championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Thursday evening. Through 12 events in the 2026 ODAC Championships, Randolph-Macon women's swimming sits third with 185 points.
Day 1 Results
- The 800 Free Relay team, consisting of Hannah Loyd (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes), Reese Painter (Houston, Texas/Duchesne Academy of Sacred Heart), Brooklyn DeCann (Huntersville, N.C./Lincoln Charter) and Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass) earned a top-three finish with a time of 7:46.93. This set a new school record, breaking the previous record set in 24-25.Â
Day 2 Results
Individual Highlights
- During the 500 Free, Russell earned a second-place finish with a time of 5:08.57.
- Loyd and Decann finished the 500 Free in 5:14.19 and 5:15.45, respectively, earning a fifth and sixth-place finish.
- Anna Sprott (Hampton, Va./Peninsula Catholic) earned a top-eight finish in the 200 Medley with a time of 2:12.15.
- During the 50 Free, Sophie Sullivan (Richmond, Va./Saint Catherine's) placed third with a time of 24.12 seconds.
Relay Highlights
- The 200 Free Relay team of Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial), Teaghan McNeill (Knightdale, N.C./Enloe), Madi Reed (Stephens City, Va./Sherando) and Sullivan earned a third-place finish with a time of 1:37.03. This broke the previous school record set at the 2025 ODAC Championships.
- The 400 Medley Relay team, consisting of James, Sprott, Sullivan and McNeill, earned a top-three finish with a new school record of 3:56.70. James' first leg of the relay set a new individual record for the 100 Back.
