GALLATIN, Tenn. - Four different players scored in double figures led by
Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Va./South Kent Prep) and
Liam Joyce (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic), as Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball ran past Augsburg 85-49 to complete the Music City Classic.

How it Happened:
- The first five minutes of the game would be tied at 8-8, as both team traded points up until the 15:42 mark. Randolph-Macon scored the next nine points to take a 17-8 lead with 12:58 left in the half. Brady Lam (Ruckersville, Va./William Monroe) and Amr Areikat (Ramallah, Palestine./Langley) both hit three-pointers to highlight the run. Augsburg hung around and rattled off five straight points to dwindle the Yellow Jacket lead to 17-13. Ty Showalter (Charlotte, N.C./Butler) pushed the Lemon and Black to a double digit lead on a lay-up at the 6:56 mark, RMC leading 24-13. The Auggies kept within striking distance using free throws and still trailed Randolph-Macon 26-21. Robinson led the Yellow Jackets on a 19-3 run in the final five minutes of the opening half. The senior knocked down back-to-back three balls in the final minute and totaled nine points on the run. The Lemon and Black used the two big scoring runs to jump ahead 45-24 heading into the locker room.
- In the second half, Randolph-Macon would stay hot and scored the first 13 points of the final 20 minutes. Malcolm Hodges (Richmond, Va./Monacan) and Robinson combined for nine points and increased the lead to 58-24 with 16:45 on the clock. Augsburg knocked down some three-pointers and cut the Yellow Jacket lead to 24 points at 69-45 with 9:23 left on the clock. The biggest lead of the game was 39 points following a Areikat bucket with 4:35 left in the game, showing a 85-46 lead for the Lemon and Black. Augsburg scored the lone three points in the last four minutes and Randolph-Macon took home the 85-49 win.
Inside the Numbers:
- Randolph-Macon shot 50.7 percent from the floor, as Augsburg knocked down 33.3 percent of its shots.
- The Yellow Jackets outrebounded the Auggies 47-to-27 in the entire game.
- Robinson led all scorers with 20 points. The junior nailed five three-pointers, adding five rebounds, two assists, one steal and a blocked shot.
- Joyce ended the game with 12 points, seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot.
- Theo Antinori (Asheville, N.C./Rabun Gap) contributed 11 points off the bench, going 3-for-4 from behind the arc and pulled down three rebounds.
- Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) was the final Yellow Jacket in double figures scoring, recording 10 points in the game.
- Hodges, Showalter and Areikat all scored eight points for the Lemon and Black.

Randolph-Macon will head return home to take part in the RMC Coaches Tournament on December 29-30. The Yellow Jackets will kick off the tournament against Misericordia.
