ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon football team sits at #18 in the latest AFCA Coaches Poll, presented by Hudl.
The Yellow Jackets are No. 26 in the NCAA Power Index (NPI), the metric used by the Division III football committee for at-large selections as well as for seeding for the NCAA Playoffs.

The Lemon and Black also stayed at #21 in the D3football.com Top-25 poll, which was updated Sunday night.
Randolph-Macon extended its winning streak to seven games, improving to 8-1 overall and 7-0 in ODAC play, following a 31-14 home victory over Shenanoah this past Saturday. The Yellow Jackets have now recorded at least one interception in each of their nine games played this season. The Lemon and Black defense now ranks first in the country in overall turnovers (28), second in interceptions (18), turnover margin (2.22) and defensive touchdowns (5). The team is fifth in fumble recoveries (10) and seventh in rushing defense (53.6).
RMC 8-1 (7-0) will head into its bye week before hosting the 130th Edition of "The Game" against rival Hampden-Sydney on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1:00 p.m.
