ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Football has been picked 25th in the D3football.com Preseason Top 25 Poll, following a second round appearance in last season's division III college football playoff. The Yellow Jackets are entering year 23 under Head Coach Pedro Arruza.

The Yellow Jackets began and finished the 2025 season at #21 in the country.

In 2025, RMC went undefeated in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference for the fourth consecutive season, guiding them to their fourth straight playoff appearance. The program won its 16th ODAC crown in program history and seventh in the last 10 titles. The Lemon and Black received a first round bye in the NCAA playoffs, before concluding the season at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. 

The Yellow Jackets have a 51-3 ODAC record since 2018 (.944) and own a 57-7 overall record since 2020 (.890). Over the past ten seasons, the Yellow Jackets are 91-17 (.843) overall and 61-6 (.910) in conference contests. 
 
Randolph-Macon opens the season on the road at Dickinson on Sept. 4 before a date at home with preseason #4 John Hopkins on Sept. 12. The Yellow Jackets will be on the road for the 131st edition of "The Game" that matches Randolph-Macon up with Hampden-Sydney to conclude the regular season.
