BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team fell during the ODAC Quarterfinals, concluding its 2025 season against fourth-seeded Bridgewater.

How it Happened
- In the first three minutes of the match, Bridgewater tallied the first two shots but Randolph-Macon went on the counter shortly after. In the 7th minute, the Yellow Jackets opened up the scoring with Jackie Wenzlik (Durham, N.C./Riverside) connecting with Ariel Farmer (Chesterfield, Va./Clover Hill), giving RMC a 1-0 lead.
- The Eagles responded quickly, finding a goal in the 13th minute from Sophia Phillips. The Yellow Jackets looked to take the lead back but Bridgewater struck again in the 25th minute when Lyric Birkley found Laura Narby to grab a 2-1 lead.
- The final goal of the half came five minutes later when Brianna Currio connected with Kendall Garza, extending the Eagles' lead to 3-1. RMC looked to cut the deficit to just one goal before heading into halftime with chances from Alexa Stohr (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) in the 36th minute and Ally Quigley (Broadlands, Va./Briar Woods) in the 42nd minute but could not capitalize.
- Heading out of the break, the Yellow Jackets had back-to-back shots in the 59th minute from Madison Blanchard (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) and Thalia Outhuok (Falls Church, Va./Justice). BC went on the counter after these chances and extended their lead once again in the 61st minute.
- 11 minutes later, the Eagles grabbed the final goal of the match after Brianna Currio booted the ball into the back of the net. The Yellow Jackets had opportunities in the final 18 minutes of the second half but the Eagles' backline and midfield held onto the lead, defeating RMC 5-1.

- The Eagles outshot the Yellow Jackets 26-17 overall and 12-8 in shots on frame.
- Bridgewater had seven corner kicks during the match, while Randolph-Macon recorded three.
- Farmer and Wenzlik recorded the goal and assist for the Yellow Jackets.
- Farmer led the Yellow Jackets with four shots overall.
