LEXINGTON, Va. - The Randolph-Macon women's swimming team finished second at the ODAC Relay Invitational on Saturday afternoon with a score of 334 overall. This is an improvement from last year, when the team finished fourth.

Highlights (Top-Ten) 

• The 100 Free team of Teaghan McNeill (Knightdale, N.C./Enloe), Annika Rogerson (Goochland, Va./Goochland), Reese Painter (Houston, Texas/Duchesne Academy of Sacred Heart) and Sophie Sullivan (Richmond, Va./Saint Catherine's) finished third out of 21 teams with a time of 47.93.
• The 100 Free team of Avery Swenson (Chester, Va./Monacan), Eliza Brock-Turner (Midlothian, Va./Manchester), Hannah Loyd (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) and Maryn Feehs (Lorton, Va./South County) finished eighth with a time of 50.08.
• The 3x50 Fly team finished in second place out of 16 teams with a time of 1:21.43, with outstanding performances by Sullivan, Rogerson and Madi Reed (Stephens City, Va./Sherando).
• The 3x50 Fly team, consisting of Swenson, Tess Williams (Midlothian, Va./James River) and Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass) finished eighth with a time of 1:25.99.
• The 3x50 Back team of Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial), Abby Kozlowski (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) and Painter finished fourth out of 16 teams with a time of 1:26.54.
• Rogerson, Mary Kathryn Stum (North Beach, Md./Northern) and Loyd finished eighth with a time of 1:28.88 in the 3x50 Back.
• The 3x50 Back team for the Yellow Jackets of Brooklyn DeCann (Huntersville, N.C./Lincoln Charter), Savannah Corey (Stafford, Va./Mountain View) and Hannah Tillett (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) finished with a time of 1:29.55 in ninth place.
• The 3x50 Breast team, consisting of Izzie Check (Williamsburg, Va./Bruton), Reed and Anna Sprott (Hampton, Va./Peninsula Catholic) finished in third out of 15 teams with a time of 1:36.62.
• McNeill, Sarah Wright (Newport News, Va./Woodside) and Stum finished in seventh with a time of 1:43.83.
• The 400 Free team of James, McNeill, Check and Sullivan finished third out of 19 teams with a time of 3:45.04.
• Sprott, Loyd, Painter and Russell finished sixth with a time of 3:49.12 in the 400 Free.
• The 3x100 Medley team of Sprott, Reed and Check placed third out of 17 teams with a time of 3:12.81.
• DeCann, Painter and Russell finished seventh in the 3x100 Medley with a time of 3:18.55.
• In the 500 (50-100-150-200), the Yellow Jackets placed fourth with a time of 4:59.40, with help from McNeill, Check, Loyd and Russell.
• Swenson, Feehs, Kozlowski and DeCann finished with a time of 5:04.63 and placed seventh in the 500 (50-100-150-200).
• The 200 Medley team took second place with a time of 1:51.94 with an phenomenal showing from James, Sprott, Reed and Sullivan.
• Kozlowski, Check, Rogerson and Swenson placed seventh in the 200 Medley, finishing with a time of 1:57.13.
• In the 4x25 Underwater Fly Kick event, James, Reed, Russell and Sprott finished in second for RMC with a time of 53.04.
• Corey, Feehs, Williams and Rogerson finished third in the Underwater Fly Kick with a time of 56.53.
• The 200 Free team of James, McNeill, Painter and Sullivan earned a third-place finish out of 19 teams with a time of 1:42.67.
• Swenson, Feehs, Loyd and Lily Mitchell (Wake Forest, N.C./Heritage) came in ninth with a time of 1:47.56 in the 200 Free.
