LEXINGTON, Va. - After two goals in the first half, Washington and Lee netted a penalty kick goal early in the second half, grabbing a 2-1 win over Randolph-Macon.

How it Happened
	- In the first 24 minutes of the match, Randolph-Macon had two chances to grab the lead on shots from Wiley Eubank (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton) and Tyler Oakes (Nottingham, England/Toothhill School) but Washington and Lee keeper Will Joseph saved both of them, keeping the game level.
- Three minutes later, the Yellow Jackets grabbed the first goal thanks to Damien Jackson (Newport News, Va./Menchville). However, five minutes later, the Generals quickly found the equalizer on a shot from Chris Ordway. Jayden Walker (Suffolk, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) grabbed the final shot of the first half and the teams headed into the break tied at 1-1.
- In the 59th minute of the second half, W&L was awarded a penalty kick, which Buster Couhig booted into the back of the net, giving the Generals the lead.
- RMC searched for the equalizer with great play out wide from Walker and Barrett Wilson (Lexington, S.C./Lexington) while Oakes at center mid helped build the attack for the Yellow Jackets. In the end, Randolph-Macon could not land the equalizer and W&L earned a 2-1 victory.
