DESTIN, Fla. - Randolph-Macon men's golf finished the second day of the three day GolfWeek October Classic tournament.
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) led the team on day two with a score of +2 (73), anchored by a -3 (32) back nine. The sophomore totaled nine pars, three birdies and an eagle on hole twelve. Kohut has recorded a +12 (154) in the first two rounds overall for the Lemon and Black.
Charlie Wilkerson (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) was consistent during the round for the Yellow Jackets, ending the day with a round score of +3 (74). The sophomore recorded three birdies to highlight the round. Wilkerson heads into the final round with a tournament score of +8 (150).
Luke Richardson (Davidsonville, Md./Archbishop Spalding) started his round with an even par front nine with two birdies. The senior ended the day one shot behind teammate Wilkerson at +4 (75) and has a 36-hole score of +8 (150).
Michael Schaal (Chapel Hill, N.C./Carolina Friends) finished his second round of the tournament with a score of +6 (77). The junior was even par on the back nine and had a birdie on the twelfth hole. Schaal sits with a +12 (154) for the tournament with one round to play.
Will Johnson (Blackstone, Va./Kenston Forest School) rounded out the group with a round score of +11 (82). The freshman has a total tournament score of +18 (160).
