How it Happened

The teams battled back and forth, but it was a 5-1 run by RMC to make it 20-17 that was the deal breaker in the set. They finished the frame on a 4-1 run as they took set one, 25-21.
- The Yellow Jackets took command of the second set early, as they stormed out to an 8-4 lead. They put the pedal down 9-0 run, which extended to a 12-1 run as RMC then led 22-9. Randolph bounced back with a 6-1 run, but RMC closed out the set, winning the final two points of the frame to win 25-15 and move within one set of a sweep.
- Exactly like the second set, RMC grabbed an early 8-4 lead in the third stanza. This time, the lead was gradually grown out throughout the set, as RMC never had a run of more than three points until the very end where they took a 20-15 lead, and made it a 25-15 win after winning the final five points to earn the sweep.
