MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Randolph-Macon Women's Volleyball picked up their second victory of the 2024 campaign against Concordia-Chicago to complete their time at Maryville College in Tennessee.

How it Happened:
- Randolph-Macon didn't take long opening up a big lead in the first set, going on a 10-4 run to begin the match. The Cougars answered with a quick 6-1 run of their own to bring the deficit back to one point at 11-10. The score would be tied at 15-15, as the Yellow Jackets won the final 10-of-15 points to take the first set and lead the overall match 1-0.
- The Lemon and Black would start the second set on fire, recording nine kills in the first 20 points to grab a commanding 20-8 lead. Kylie Wilhelmi (Cherry Valley, Ill./Rockford Lutheran) accounted for four kills in the final five points for Randolph-Macon to salt away a set two victory, 25-18.
- Concordia-Chicago would not go away quietly, commanding control in the third set and taking a 17-11 lead. The Cougars were trying to force a fourth set and the Yellow Jackets looked to finish up play with a sweep. Wilhelmi made her presence felt trying to get Randolph-Macon back in the game, using four more kills to pull the Lemon and Black within a point at 24-23. Wilhelmi recorded her fifthteenth and final kill to end the match in extra points, giving Randolph-Macon a comeback 28-26 game three victory.
By the Numbers:
- RMC hit .193 in the match, as the Cougars hit .102 to their credit.
- The Yellow Jackets had 13 different players with a kill in the match, including eight with at least two kills.
- Wilhelmi ended the match with 15 kills and nine digs to lead the Yellow Jackets.
- Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) totaled five kills, nine assists and six digs for Randolph-Macon.
- Kaitlyn Kaplan (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) led the team in assists with 11, added seven digs and three service aces.
