ASHLAND, Va. – Senior midfielder Anna Stribling (Annandale, Va./W.T. Woodson) has been named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Field Hockey All-State Second Team at the midfield position.
 
Stribling, an All-ODAC Second Team selection in 2023, totaled 15 points this year, good for second on the team. Her seven assists also placed her second for RMC and sixth in the ODAC. She also picked up four goals on the yea, including one game winner. She completes her career by starting each of her final 55 games of her career, which includes every game from the past three seasons.
 
"We are so proud of Anna and all that she's accomplished," said head coach Jess Weiss. "This honor is a great cap to her successful career. She has always put the team first, so she deserves this recognition and more."
 
The senior picks up her first All-State selection and becomes the program's third All-State player in the last four years, joining Gatlin Snyder '22 and Claire Magill '21.
 
The Yellow Jackets posted an 11-7 overall record, their most wins since 2013, and a 6-3 record in conference play, hosting a playoff game for the first time since 2019.
