ASHLAND, Va. – Following OTA's, the New England Patriots have signed rookie free agent David Wallis (Cedar Point, N.C./Croatan), a former wide receiver from Randolph-Macon College.
 
Wallis was All-Region First Team by D3football.com this past season. He was All-ODAC three times during his career and All-ODAC First Team each of the past two seasons. Wallis was first in the ODAC and 32nd in the nation with 957 receiving yards in 2023. He also led the league with 18.1 yards per reception. Wallis was second in the conference and 31st in the country with 12 receiving touchdowns. He was third in the ODAC with 53 catches. Wallis holds the program record with 34 career receiving touchdowns.

The Yellow Jackets won their first 13 games in 2023, a program record for victories in a season, and reached the semifinals of the NCAA Championship. RMC hosted three of its four NCAA Playoff contests. The Yellow Jackets won the ODAC title with a 7-0 conference mark. RMC has captured 14 ODAC championships, the most in conference history. The Yellow Jackets were ranked No. 6 in the final AFCA Division III Coaches' Top 25, their highest final ranking since being No. 5 in 1984.
