ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon men's tennis team dropped its Swarm Game match against Shenandoah in an home matchup 9-0 in ODAC action on Saturday afternoon at the Banks Tennis Center.
The Yellow Jackets started the match with three doubles matches in which
Max Doyle (Alexandria, Va./St. John's College (D.C)) and
Evan Holzmacher (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) dropped the closest match in second doubles by a score of 8-3. Shenandoah took control of the match, taking home wins in all three matches.
In singles, Randolph-Macon had
Winston Chapman (Hampton, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) gather some points in fourth singles, as he would lose a tough battle. The Hornets would end up completing the full match sweep with wins in all six singles matches, for a 9-0 win on the road.
