ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon men's tennis team fell to #46 Virginia Wesleyan on Senior Day to conclude the 2023-2024 season for the Yellow Jackets. Seniors
Max Doyle (Alexandria, Va./St. John's College (D.C)),
William Adair (Henrico, Va./Hermitage) and
Max Hammock (Vienna, Va./James Madison) were honored before the match on Saturday afternoon at the Banks Tennis Center.
The Yellow Jackets started the match with three doubles matches in which Doyle and and
Braxton Fagan (Richmond, Va./Deep Run) dropped the closest match in first doubles by a score of 8-2. Virginia Wesleyan took control of the match, taking home wins in all three matches.
In singles, Randolph-Macon had Doyle gather some points in second singles, as he would lose a tough battle. The Marlins would end up completing the full match sweep with wins in all six singles matches, for a 9-0 win on the road.

Randolph-Macon concludes their season with a 2-11 record overall and 1-8 in ODAC play. The Yellow Jackets will be back in action again in the fall for the 2024-2025 season.
