GREENSBORO, N.C. - Randolph-Macon men's tennis moves to 2-6 (1-3) after falling to Guilford College 9-0 on the road in Greensboro, North Carolina. In doubles play
Max Doyle (Alexandria, Va./St. John's College (D.C)) and
Max Hammock (Vienna, Va./James Madison) fell in an 8-2 score in first doubles. The Yellow Jackets could not find their footing in the two other doubles matches, as the Quakers won both to sweep doubles.
Winston Chapman (Hampton, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) played a competitive match in third singles, as the freshman lost a close 6-4 set and would go on to drop the match with a 6-1 score in set two. Guilford got ahead early in doubles and never looked back to take the Lemon and Black.
