GREENSBORO, N.C. – After day three of the ODAC Championships in Greensboro, RMC women's swimming is placed fourth out of 11 teams with 284 points.

The day began with the 200 yard medley relay, which RMC saw a fourth-place finish in with a team of
Caroline Russell (Lynchburg, Va./EC Glass),
Teaghan McNeill (Knightdale, N.C./Enloe),
Melina Christou (Smithfield, Va./Menchville), and
Cayden Fix (Barboursville, Va./William Monroe). The finishing time for the team was 1:49.68.

Katelyn Vieni (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis) then grabbed fifth in the 400 IM, finishing in 4:40.33 in a close finish between second and seventh in the event.

Melina Christou was one of two podium finishers on the day for RMC, finishing third in the 100 fly in 59.07. It marked her second individual podium finish of the weekend.

Teaghan McNeill and
Sophia Hanson (Hamilton, Va./Woodgrove) took the third and fourth spots in the 100 breaststroke, respectively. McNeill finished in 1:07.21 and Hanson finished just .12 behind in 1:07.33.

The final day of the ODAC championships will commence tomorrow with sessions at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
