GREENSBORO, N.C. – Randolph-Macon women's swimming finished fourth at the 2024 ODAC Championships in Greensboro with 410 points.

The Yellow Jackets began the day with an eighth-place finish by
Brooklyn DeCann (Huntersville, N.C./Lincoln Charter) in the 1650 free, finishing in 18:41.34 in the distance race.

Kelsey James (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) and
Abby Kozlowski (Bel Air, Md./Notre Dame Prep) finished sixth and eighth, respectively in the 200 back. James finished in 2:11.64 and Koslowski finished in 2:13.11.

Sophia Hanson (Hamilton, Va./Woodgrove) then finished eighth in the 200 breaststroke in 2:29.42.

In the final individual event,
Melina Christou (Smithfield, Va./Menchville) finished sixth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:14.39.

In the final relay event of the weekend, RMC finished fifth in the 400 free relay with a team of
Teaghan McNeill (Knightdale, N.C./Enloe),
Katelyn Vieni (Mechanicsville, Va./Lee-Davis),
Kelsey James, and
Cayden Fix (Barboursville, Va./William Monroe). The team finished with a time of 3:40.32.

RMC had five swimmers placed on the all-ODAC teams, which equals the five that garnered ODAC honors a season ago.
