– Randolph-Macon Men's Basketball had 10 different players score at least two points in an 81-72 loss at Hood College on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened:
- Amr Areikat (Ramallah, Palestine/Langley) converted a three-point play on the first possession of the game for RMC to make it a 3-0 lead just 21 seconds in. The Yellow Jackets extended the lead to 9-2 two minutes later, but a 7-0 run by the Blazers brought it back to 9-9. An 8-2 run ensued for the Jackets ensued before Hood used three triples to take their first lead at 23-18. Hood's lead ballooned to 32-24 with five minutes to go in the half and a Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) put back cut the deficit to five at 36-31 through 20 minutes of play.
- The Blazers erupted to begin the second half, pushing their lead out to 14 at 47-33. RMC couldn't find their groove offensively, allowing Hood to continue building their lead, extending it out to 22 at 63-41 at the 10:44 mark of the half. Hood led 72-56 with four minutes left, but RMC rallied back. Over the next minute and a half, RMC went on an 8-1 run to trim the lead to single digits for the first time since 18:28. The Blazers made a three pointer and five free throws down the stretch to hold off the comeback attempt and pull out an 81-72 win.
Inside the Numbers:
- Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) finished with 24 points and seven assists. It marks the third time in his career with 24+ points in a game.
- Amr Areikat totaled 15 points, hitting a pair of threes and five free throws.
- Keishawn Pulley Jr. scored 10 points to couple with nine board and two blocks. His nine rebounds are his most in a game since Feb. 25, 2023, when he had 10 in a win over Roanoke.
- RMC outrebounded the Blazers 41-35 and had a 19-10 advantage on the offensive glass.
- The Yellow Jackets had a 28-17 advantage in fast break points and had 17 second chance points to just five for Hood.
- 10 different players scored at least two points for the second straight game.
