LEXINGTON, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team fell to top-seeded Washington and Lee in the conference semifinals to conclude their 2024 season.

How it Happened
- Washington and Lee gained momentum of the match early with pressure in the Yellow Jacket defensive end. The Generals would find the back of the net in the 15th minute with a goal by Sarah Zimmerman, set up with great assisting passes by Megan Zimmerman and Shay Bowman.
- Sophie Berman added to the General lead in the 24th minute with an assisted goal by Helen Otteni and Berman.
- Randolph-Macon would have some runs at the Washington and Lee side of the field with build up, nothing would come from it as the Generals defenders stood tough. The score would sit at 2-0 going into the halftime break.
- In the 66th minute Sarah Zimmerman would net her second goal of the game and give the Generals a 3-0 lead.
- Washington and Lee added one last goal in the 85th minute by Gracie Jorgensen that was assisted by Sydney Irwin.
