How it Happened
- After surrendering the first point of the match, RMC took an 8-4 lead. After holding a 10-6 advantage, Hollins found their footing with a 6-2 run to knot the score up at 12. They went on to take their first lead of the set after winning two of the next three points. The two sides battled, and Hollins had a two-point lead at 24-22 with set point, but RMC rallied to win seven of the next 10 points, which ultimately gave the Yellow Jackets a 29-27 set one win.
- RMC had command of the second set from the beginning, opening the frame with a 6-3 lead. The closest the score got from that point on was just two as RMC held their lead until bursting out to an 8-0 run to make the score 23-12. The two teams split the final four points as the Yellow Jackets took set two, 25-14.
