HARRISONBURG, Va. – Seven different Yellow Jackets scored a goal as Randolph-Macon Field Hockey routed Eastern Mennonite 9-0 on Wednesday to conclude the regular season.

How it Happened
- The Yellow Jackets started quick offensively, setting a strong precedent for the rest of the game. Mackenzie Wunderlich (Midlothian, Va./Trinity Episcopal) opened the scoring for RMC just over six minutes in with Llana Thach (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) adding to the lead one minute later giving Randolph-Macon the 2-0 lead heading into the second quarter. Alaina McCoy (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) and Annie Pruitt (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) each dished out an assist on the goals.Â
- The second frame was much of the same with RMC having 14 shots resulting in three goals, two of which were back-to-back goals from Breea Dressler (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) followed by a Courtney Moodie (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) goal.Â
- With significant opportunities in the third quarter, including seventeen shots and eight corners, Caroline Bassett (Glen Allen, Va./Patrick Henry) and Alaina McCoy added their names to the list of goal scorers, giving RMC the 7-0 lead headed into the final frame.Â
- The Yellow Jackets did not cease, continuing their offensive pressure in the fourth, as Breea Dressler rounded out her evening with a hat trick, assisted by Moodie. Amelia Myers (York, Pa./West York Area) tacked on one final goal for RMC, scoring her first career goal on an assist from Neely Winefordner (Glen Allen, Va./Trinity Episcopal School).Â
