ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon men's soccer team scored in the final four minutes to propel them to an emotional senior day win over Randolph 1-0.

How it Happened
- In a first half that saw both offenses struggle, Randolph-Macon had great play by Bryce Kuberek (King George, Va./King George) and Elijah Caro (Asheville, N.C./Black Mountain). Caro got his first start of the year and created the majority of the chances that the Yellow Jackets had in the first 45 minutes. Kuberek was tough in the center defensive midfield spot, breaking up plays by Randolph and winning the vast majority of balls in the air.
- The Lemon and Black held a slim advantage in possession and put three shots on goal, as the WildCats had one shot on frame in the final minute. The score would be 0-0 heading into halftime with both offenses looking for answers.
- The second half would start slow and would not pick up until the final five minutes of the match. In the 86th minute, Zach Richards (Virginia Beach, Va./Landstown) took the ball away from Randolph and found Davian Jackson (Newport News, Va./Menchville) streaking towards goal. Jackson sent in a world class shot and beat Carter Kelly to propel the Yellow Jackets into the lead at 1-0.
- In the final minute, the WildCats were looking for the equalizing goal, Sampson Blakey sent in a rocket and Adam Braithwaite (Chesterfield, Va./Matoaca) made a heroic save to seal an emotional 1-0 win for Randolph-Macon on senior day.

- Randolph-Macon had 17 shots in the game, compared to the eight that Randolph tallied. The Yellow Jackets held a 8-to-3 advantage with shots on frame.
- Randolph-Macon held the advantage 10-to-2 in corner opportunities in the 90 minute game.

- Richards tallied his first assist of his third season at Randolph-Macon.
