HARRISONBURG, Va. – Randolph-Macon men's soccer took the lead twice in its conference matchup with Eastern Mennonite, but the Royals answered the bell both times to end the match in a 2-2 draw.

How it Happened
- Randolph-Macon struck first on its very first shot on goal attempt in the 12th minute, as Kodi Tannor (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) shot a missile from right outside of the box on a pass from Wiley Eubank (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton) for the first goal of the game.
- The Royals struck back with a goal of their own in the 23rd minute by way of a Mesa Dula goal that was assisted by Ariel Morales Bonilla to tie up the game at 1-1 to go into the half.
- The Lemon and Black grabbed the lead again in the 64th minute as Dylan Matheny (Greensboro, N.C./Clover Hill) cleaned up a Bogue Cummings (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) shot that rebounded right in front of the EMU net-minder to set the score at 2-1.
- Eastern Mennonite answered for the second time in the match on a free-kick that found Hudson Acocella with a wide open net for the equalizing goal that ended the game in a 2-2 draw.
- Defenders' Trevor Moyer (Hampton,Va./Kecoughton) and Damien Jackson (Newport News, Va./Menchville) both turned in impressive performances for the Yellow Jackets in the back line.
- Jake Hall (Mount Airy, Ga./Tallulah Falls School) and Bryce Kuberek (King George, Va./King George) created many opportunities for Randolph-Macon in the midfield in the match.
Inside the Numbers
- Matheny scored his conference leading eighth goal of the season.
- Tannor netted his third goal of the season for the Yellow Jackets.
- Eubank notched his third assist of the season.
- Zach Fontenot (Palmyra, Va./Fluvanna County) made four saves in 90 minutes.
- Randolph-Macon outshot the Royals 17 to 11. The Yellow Jackets put seven shots on goal to Eastern Mennonite's six.
