Dylan Matheny (Greensboro, N.C./Clover Hill) finds the net twice and added two assists as Randolph-Macon Men's Soccer cruises past Regent, 5-1 at home on Friday night.
Zach Richards (Virginia Beach, Va./Landstown) added his first goal of the season as well to contribute to the offensive attack.

How it Happened
- The Yellow Jackets didn't waste time to find the back of the net and take the lead 1-0. Chazz Jones (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic Academy) headed in the ball on a Matheny lob pass in the box.
- Randolph-Macon doubled its lead in the 25th minute as Richards scored from the right side of the box, on Matheny's second assist of the game.
- Five minutes later in the 30th minute, Wiley Eubank (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton) broke down his defender and found a wide open Matheny in the box as he headed it home for a 3-0 lead.
- The Lemon and Black added a fourth and final goal of the first half in the 41st minute. Matheny finished on a Bogue Cummings (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) feed, as the goal was the sixth for the senior on the season and moves him to first in the conference in goals.
- Regent got on the board in the 54th minute for its only goal of the game. Tafadzwa Deko Churumanzi flicked in an amazing goal off his heel past the Yellow Jacket keeper, Keith Cardenas was credited with the assist from the corner.
- Randolph-Macon capped off the game with a fifth goal in the 84th minute. Nash Holland (Warrenton, Va./Liberty) finished in front of goal on a Teddy Westervelt (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) corner kick, as RMC finished with a 5-1 win over the Royals.

- Randolph-Macon totalled 13 shots on goal, compared to the Royals one. The Yellow Jackets tallied 27 shots overall in the match, to only three that Regent managed to put up.
- The Yellow Jackets had 11 opportunities for corner kicks, as Regent only had three to end the match.
- Matheny ended the match with six points. The senior knocked in two goals and had two assists.
- Jones, Richards and Holland all tallied a goal in the match.
