ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer team saw three different Yellow Jackets find the back of the net in a shooting frenzy game against visiting Averett 3-0.

How it Happened
- The Yellow Jackets came out fast in the first 19 minutes of the game putting up 13 shots that saw five on frame. Lauren Brokaw (Glen Allen Va./Glen Allen) broke the ice in the 21st minute with her third goal of the season as Alexa Stohr (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) was credited with the assist.
- Randolph-Macon doubled its lead in the 37th minute as Lauren Donovan (Glen Allen Va./Glen Allen) scored an unassisted goal moments after she subbed into the game for the Lemon and Black. The Yellow Jackets owned time of possession in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- In the first two minutes of the second period, Olivia Owens (Salisbury, Md./James M. Bennett) capped off the scoring for RMC with a goal, as Kelly Rogers (Crozet, Va./Western Albemarle) registered her first assist of the season. The Yellow Jackets continued its dominant offensive attack throughout the second half to take home a 3-0 win.

- Randolph-Macon totalled 21 shots on goal, compared to the Cougars two. The Yellow Jackets tallied 39 shots overall in the match, to only five that Averett managed to put up.
- The Yellow Jackets had 14 opportunities for corner kicks, as Averett only had four to end the match.
- Brokaw scored her team leading third goal of the season.
- Donovan and Owens both scored their first goals of the season.
- Stohr and Rogers each had an assist in the match.
- Zoe Long (Midlothian, Va/Midlothian) only made one save in 73 minutes, Erin Morris (Manchester, N.H./Bishop Guertin) also only had to face one shot in the final 17 minutes.
