ASHLAND, Va. – Senior
Brecht Heuchan (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay) threw for 151 yards in the second half as No. 8 Randolph-Macon fell to No. 11 Cortland 49-14 in the semifinals of the Division III Football Championship.

- Heuchan completed 11 of 17 passes for 151 yards, all in the second half.
- Senior wide receiver Holden Hodge (Elizabeth City, N.C./Northeastern) was targeted eight times and had eight catches for 87 yards. He had 47 yards after catch.
- Sophomore wide receiver Jason Moore (Craven County, N.C./Havlock) had 152 all-purpose yards, with 78 on kickoff returns, 53 on receptions and 21 rushing yards.
- Senior linebacker Tony Skinner (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) and junior linebacker Jackson Deaver (Fayetteville, N.C./Terry Sanford) paced the RMC defense with nine tackles each. Senior cornerback Ricky Thompson (Chesapeake, Va./Oscar Smith) recorded eight tackles and one pass breakup.
For The Record:
- Hale's touchdown in the fourth quarter was the 41st of his career, a program record.
- Senior quarterback Drew Campanale (Shrewsbury, Mass./Shrewsbury) finished with 4,871 career passing yards, the fifth-highest total in program history
- Randolph-Macon finished the season with 13 victories, the most in program history.
