YORK, Pa. – Margad Choijilsuren (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) and
Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) and each poured in 20 points as RMC men's basketball took an 87-68 win at York (Pa.) on Sunday.

How it Happened
- The first half was high-scoring and close for the opening 12 minutes, as the largest lead of that span came at the 11:30 mark when a Jabril Robinson layup made it 18-13, RMC. The Yellow Jackets were able to build a seven-point lead after Keishawn Pulley Jr. (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's School) had five straight points to help extend the lead. A Robinson layup with two seconds remaining in the half gave the Yellow Jackets the first double-digit lead of the day at 45-35 which was the score after 20 minutes of play. RMC shot a staggering 70.4% from the field in the first half.
- Vincent Payne (Frederick, Md./St. Maria Goretti) hit a three to open the second half to push the lead to 48-35. A 6-0 run by the Spartans brought the deficit back to seven at 50-43. York kept the Yellow Jackets within 12 points until the 8:01 mark when Robinson hit a three to push it to 15 points which ignited a 14-7 run where the Lemon and Black put the game out of reach at 81-62. RMC would go on to win 87-68.
Inside the Numbers
- 176 points (89 last night, 87 tonight) is the most in a two-game span since Feb. 1-4, 2023 when RMC scored 96 vs. Shenandoah and 83 vs. Bridgewater in back-to-back games.
- Margad Choijilsuren had a career-high 20 points in an efficient night, shooting 9-12 from the field. He also had five rebounds and three assists while only playing 22 minutes.
- Jabril Robinson also had 20 points, going 9-16 from the field and a perfect 2-2 from deep. He corralled six rebounds as well.
- Daniel Mbangue (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) totaled a season-high 16 points, making seven shots on nine attempts. He also had seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks.
- RMC shot a season-best 62.5% (35-56) from the field. That is the highest mark since December 4, 2019 when they shot 63.6% in a 97-55 win over Bridgewater.
- The Yellow Jackets outrebounded York 40-22, giving them a +43 rebound differential over the weekend.
