How it Happened
- The RMC defense started strong in the opening minutes, forcing a pair of turnovers in the first three minutes which led to Jabril Robinson (Rockville, Md./South Kent Prep) hitting a three to cap a 7-2 run. Daniel Mbangue (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) totaled six points and four rebounds in the opening seven minutes to help the Yellow Jackets open a 16-8 lead early. Seven different RMC players scored in the first 13 minutes of the game as the Yellow Jackets built a 35-16 lead, executing on both sides of the ball. Led by Mbangue with seven, RMC held a 22-5 advantage on the boards with five minutes to go in the half. RMC was held scoreless for three and a half minutes before ending the drought with a minute left in the frame, taking a 42-22 lead into the halftime break.
- Will Coble (Charlotte, N.C./Davidson Day) hit a pair of threes to ignite the offense in the beginning of the second half. RMC opened up a 61-31 lead seven minutes in, while shooting 53% from the floor. The Yellow Jackets doubled up the Blazers once again, holding a 70-35 advantage with just under ten minutes to go in the second frame. RMC continued their offensive push through the remainder of the game, finishing out an 89-53 win for their largest win of the year.

- 89 points marks the most for RMC this season and the most since February 1, 2023 against Shenandoah where they scored 93.
- RMC won the rebounding battle 47-22. 47 total rebounds and 19 offensive rebounds are the most for the Yellow Jackets this season.

- Magad Choijilsuren (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) totaled 11 points while being efficient, making five shots in six attempts.
- Daniel Mbangue had 11 rebounds to couple with his six points. His 11 boards mark the first game by an RMC player with double-digit rebounds this season.
- RMC had 11 steals in the game, their first game with 10+ steals on the year. They had double-digit steals in 10 wins last season.
