– Randolph-Macon women's volleyball cruised to a three-set sweep in the ODAC quarterfinal against Lynchburg on Tuesday night.

How it Happened
- RMC held a 5-3 lead early in the first set before Lynchburg would come to life with a 5-0 run but was quickly answered by the Yellow Jackets taking the lead and expanding out to a five-point advantage at 18-13. RMC held that lead through the remainder of the set to take the first set, 25-18.
- The second set was dominated by Randolph-Macon throughout. Lynchburg never held a lead as RMC took a 5-4 advantage and turned it into a 23-8 lead that would put them in command with a 2-0 lead. The Yellow Jackets hit .407 as a team in the second set.
- Lynchburg fought in the third set, leading for much of the opening points. Down 9-7, RMC rallied with a 6-1 run that would give them a large lead. Once again, the Hornets came back and cut the deficit to one at 21-20, but RMC won four of the final five points to earn the sweep and advance in the tournament.
Inside the Numbers
- The Yellow Jackets hit .298 as a team, including .306 in the first set and .407 in the second.
- RMC had seven service aces to Lynchburg's one.
- Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) led all players with 14 kills. She also tallied one block and eight digs.
- Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) had 38 assists, giving her 30+ assists in four of the last five matches. She also had three blocks.
- Ashlyn Knott (Clarksville, Va./Bluestone) had nine kills on a .667 hitting percentage.
- Lola Nolasco (Georgetown, Tx./Gateway College Prep) led all players with four blocks.
