– Randolph-Macon women's volleyball split a pair of matches in Atlanta on Saturday for the second day of the Emory Tournament.

How it Happened (vs. Berea)
- Berea opened the match with a strong start, taking a 9-5 lead. A few points later, RMC went on a 9-0 run that flipped the momentum in the set to the Yellow Jackets' side. Berea would come back to cut the deficit to one at 22-21 but RMC won the final three points of the set to take a 1-0 lead.
- The second set was tied 5-5 until the Yellow Jackets fired off an 8-1 run that opened the lead to 13-6. RMC finished the set by winning six of the final seven points to take the second set.
- The third set was close for most of the frame. Both teams flipped the lead multiple times but RMC pulled away at the end of the set with a 7-1 run to earn the sweep in the match.
Inside the Numbers (vs. Berea)
- Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) led all players with 20 kills, hitting .375. She also was tied for the team lead with 13 digs.
- Ashlyn Knott (Clarksville, Va./Bluestone) was the only other RMC player with double-digit kills, posting 12.
- Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) continued her strong play with 36 assists, leading all players.
- Lola Nolasco (Georgetown, Tx./Gateway College Prep) had five blocks while her counterpart Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnston) totaled four.
- RMC hit .379 in the final set to complete the sweep.
How it Happened (vs. Emory)
- RMC started strong, taking a 7-4 lead to carry over momentum from the first match. Emory found their way back to take the lead but RMC ignited an 8-0 run that would give them a sizable lead. The Yellow Jackets had set point with a 24-20 lead but a 6-0 run for Emory to end the set gave them a 1-0 advantage.
- Randolph-Macon had a 9-8 lead in the second set before Emory took control with a 9-1 run to give them a seven point lead. The Eagles would hold the lead the rest of the way including a 4-0 run to end the set.
- Emory commanded the third set the entire way, taking a 4-0 lead and only expanding that lead throughout the set. The Eagles would go on to win the set 25-11 to complete the sweep.
Inside the Numbers (vs. Emory)
- Grace Parker once again led the way with 14 kills while sharing the team lead with three service aces and seven digs.
- Megan Bost had six kills, hitting .333 in the match.
- Mia Zazzero (Tampa, Fla./Holy Names) followed up her four blocks in the first match with three service aces in the second match.
