ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon Women's Volleyball swept Washington and Lee in a pivotal ODAC matchup on Wednesday night.

How it Happened:
- RMC built their first set lead, thanks to a 7-1 run to push the score to 13-7 and forcing a W&L timeout. The Generals would cut the deficit to two, 17-15, but RMC extended it once again with another 7-1 run to take a 23-15 which they would hold to win set one.
- The second set was tight until the Generals opened a four-point lead at 16-12. RMC roared back with a 12-3 run to take a five-point lead at 24-19, capping the second set to build more momentum heading into the third.
- The Yellow Jackets took that momentum and ran with it, jumping out to a 6-1 lead in a blink. The set got out of hand after an 11-1 RMC run to push the lead out to 21-8 and they would cruise to the finish, earning a sweep over the conference rival.
By the Numbers:
- RMC hit a season-high .347 with 51 team kills, their most in a three-set match this year.
- Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnston) provided big plays from the right side, totaling 13 kills with just one error, hitting .500 in the match.
- The reigning ODAC Player of the Week Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) had a team-high 14 kills while also finishing with nine digs and two blocks.
- Ashlyn Knott (Clarksville, Va./Bluestone) was the third RMC player with double-digit kills, tallying 12 while hitting .346.
- Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) led the way with 26 assists.
For the Record:
- RMC sweeps Washington and Lee for the first time since 2016 and for just the fourth time in 46 meetings.
