How it Happened
- Bridgewater had five penalty corner opportunities in the first quarter but couldn't cash in on any of them. Valentina Ambrogi-Torres (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) made two stops late in the frame to keep it scoreless.
- It took five minutes of the second quarter for the Eagles to get on the board, scoring the only goal of the game. Anna Scheir (Fallston, Md./Fallston) made a defensive save late in the half to keep the deficit at one.
- Outside of one save by Ambrogi-Torres and one shot by Caitlin Porter (Virginia Beach, Va./Kellam), neither team could generate offense in the final two frames until RMC made a late push in the fourth, but came up empty.
