How it Happened
- In the first half, the Lemon and Black put together a spirited effort on both sides of the field. The home side managed to get two shots off in the first 45 minutes, as the defensive back line of Damien Jackson (Newport News, Va./Menchville), Wiley Eubank (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton), Trevor Moyer (Hampton,Va./ Kecoughton) and Bryce Kuberek (King George, Va./King George) held the Maroons without a shot on goal in the first half.
- The second half began with multiple runs by Chazz Jones (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic Academy), Dylan Matheny (Greensboro, N.C./Clover Hill), Bogue Cummings (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) and Tannor at the Roanoke goal. The Maroons turned in an impressive defensive stand of their own.
- In the 78th minute, off a corner kick; Jones found Tannor right in front of the goalkeeper that was finished by Tannor to put the Lemon and Black up 1-0.
- The entire Randolph-Macon men's soccer team put together a tough fought game to come out with an important three points in ODAC play.

- Randolph-Macon outshot the Maroons 10-to-6. Both teams put up five shots on goal in the match.
- The Lemon and Black and Maroons both had six corner opportunities in 90 minutes.
- Tannor netted his fifth goal of the season.
- Jones notched his first assist of the year.
- Adam Braithwaite (Chesterfield, Va./Matoaca) made five saves in net for the Yellow Jackets. The junior has been scored on only once in the past four games.
For the Record
- This is Randolph-Macon's first win over Roanoke since the 2012 season. This win was also the first win in Ashland over the Maroons since 2007.
- The win keeps the Lemon and Black in the ODAC playoff push going into the final week.
