Austin Fattizzi (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) scored mid-way through the second half to help men's soccer head home with a crucial conference point with a 1-1 tie at rival Hampden-Sydney.

How it Happened
- Randolph-Macon came out strong on the offensive end in the first ten minutes of the game. The Yellow Jackets sent three shots at goal and kept control of the ball to start off the night.
- Hampden-Sydney's Mo Wumpini took three early shots and his third one found the back of the net in the 14th minute to give the Tigers an early lead.
- The Lemon and Black continued the pressure on the offensive end for the remainder of the first half, outshooting Hampden-Sydney 13-6, but the Tigers took the 1-0 lead into halftime.
- Both teams traded opportunities to begin the second half, as Randolph-Macon was trying to find a way on the scoreboard. Wiley Eubank (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton) continued his year of facilitating goals for RMC, he assisted Fattizzi in the 68th minute that ended up sealing a 1-1 draw.
- Chazz Jones (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic Academy), Zach Richards (Virginia Beach, Va./Landstown), Dylan Matheny (Greensboro, N.C./Clover Hill) and Kodi Tannor (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) all had impressive nights in the attacking third to put pressure on the Tigers defense.
- The Yellow Jackets fifth year senior Bogue Cummings (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) turned in his best game of the season in the midfield, helping on both ends of the field to contribute to the result.

- The Lemon and Black had four corner opportunities, as Hampden-Sydney managed to get two corner opportunities.
- Fattizzi netted his second goal of the season, matching his career high that was previously set in 2020.
- Eubank recorded his fifth assist of the season.
- Adam Braithwaite (Chesterfield, Va./Matoaca) made six saves in 90 minutes. The performance landed the junior 122 saves in his career. His fifth save helped him pass Mike Matson '01 for seventh on the career saves list in Randolph-Macon history.
