ROANOKE, Va. – Randolph-Macon Women's Volleyball came back from a two-set deficit to defeat Roanoke on the road in five sets on Saturday.

How it Happened:
- RMC held a 7-6 advantage before igniting a 6-0 run that broke the score open to 13-6. The Yellow Jackets lead would reach as much as 10 as RMC cruised to the end of the set.
- RMC began the second set with momentum, taking an early 10-5 lead. Roanoke fired off a 9-0 run in the middle of the set, including six kills from one player during the run to take a five-point lead. The Yellow Jackets cut the lead to one but RC opened the lead back out and used a 5-0 run to end the set to win 25-18.
- The Maroons controlled much of the third set, taking a 4-3 deficit, and turning it into a 13-6 lead with a 10-2 run. Their lead would reach 10 as they finished the set to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
- The Yellow Jackets seized momentum in the fourth set, getting out to a 16-9 lead after a pair of runs to start the set. RMC continued to dominate the set the rest of the way, running away with a 25-13 set four win to force a deciding set five.
- The Lemon and Black continued the momentum to build a 7-3 lead. Roanoke brought the deficit back to two at 11-9 but two Grace Parker (Andover, N.J./Pope John XXIII) kills lifted RMC to a 4-0 run to end the set and complete the comeback.
By the Numbers:
- Parker led all players with 24 kills on the day, hitting .283 with 15 digs to her credit.
- Milly Mach (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) had a season-high 35 assists in the match while also totaling four blocks.
- Lola Nolasco (Georgetown, Tx./Gateway College Prep) led the team with five blocks.
- The Yellow Jackets totaled a season-high 19 blocks. It's their most in a match since Oct. 29, 2022.
- In the deciding fifth set, RMC hit .400 with 10 kills out of 15 points. They also hit .538 in the first set with 17 kills.
- The 60 kills for RMC ties a season-high that has been done twice before this season.
- Ashlyn Knott (Clarksville, Va./Bluestone) and Megan Bost (Angier, N.C./West Johnston) also had double-digit kills in the match.
