Box Score ASHLAND, Va. – The Randolph-Macon Field Hockey team was back at Nunnally Field Wednesday night hoping to capture their first win of the season against the Catholic Cardinals. Catholic took the victory back to Washington, DC in the midweek contest.

How it Happened
- Catholic came out of the gate attacking as they put two shots on net in the first quarter, one of which found the back of the cage off the stick of Kellie Caputo.
- The Cardinals added two goals in the second quarter to stretch their lead to three before the halftime break.
- A early second half surge by R-MC couldn't notch a goal on the board but put a lot of pressure on the Catholic defense.
- CUA pushed their lead to four with a fourth quarter goal by Ashley Martin on their only shot on goal of the second half.

- Junior Goalkeeper Kelsey Seiler led the way in the cage with five saves.
